ANOTHER day, another pedalboard, but this offering from Korean company Charlie’s Pedalboard offers an ergonomically sound approach. The C3 can fit in around six Boss-sized pedals, plus two wah types, and includes a ‘stairway’ section, which offers easy access to a second row of pedals, as well as the ability to mount a power supply
underneath. The pedalboards come in a variety of sizes, ranging from the non-tiered C5 (£60) to the C4 (£120), which holds 12 pedals; while the ’boards themselves are made out of reinforced lightweight aluminium, and come with Velcro and a decent-quality bag.
In use, the second tier is the perfect height for accessing an extra row of stompers, while the ’board’s flat design makes wah pedalling easy, too. Nice one, Charlie!
